Even though the X-Ram had been tested and showed 22% better (less) emissions then the Crossfire without the use of the EGR, the laws still requires that the EGR be in place and functional.

Many designs were made and many modifications had to be done before the final unit was ready, but the new EGR adaptor was completed and functioned exactly to the same standards as the stock Crossfire.
